Workout Table View

The Table View focuses on precision and detail.

It’s perfect for athletes who want to see exact values, compare intervals, or analyze trends throughout the workout.

By default, the screen displays six metrics (columns).

If you’re an ErgZone+ member, you can display up to ten metrics at once — learn how it works.

Understanding the Data

Each column in the Table View represents a metric that updates in real time during your workout.

You can customize which metrics appear on the screen — such as pace, watts, heart rate, or rate — depending on what matters most to you.

Header

The first row of the table serves as the header, displaying the names of the metrics.

Some metrics' names are shortened to fit in the limited space.

Overall Data

The first data row of the table displays your current values, which update with every stroke, revolution, or stride.

During the workout, this row provides real-time data, mirroring the information displayed in the erg monitor.

When the workout is finished, this row displays the overall data for the whole workout. Depending on the metric selected, it may be a total or an average.

The leftmost column presents a circular progress bar and its corresponding percentage, representing the entire workout's progress.

Intervals or Splits List

The third and subsequent lines display data for each interval or split.

In portrait mode, the app will always display three (3) intervals: previous, current, and next. In landscape mode, thirteen (13) intervals are displayed.

When the workout has more splits/intervals than can be displayed, the ErgZone app will automatically scroll to the next interval as the workout progresses.

The leftmost column presents a circular progress bar and its corresponding percentage, representing the interval's progress. The subsequent data are the metrics for that specific interval or split.

How to Change the Metrics Displayed

To change the displayed metrics:

  1. Tap the “Change Metrics” button on the workout screen,

or tap directly on any metric header (for example, Pace or Watts).

  2. A list of all available metrics will appear.
  3. Select the metric you want to display.

If you tapped a metric header, the column you selected will be highlighted first — but you can change any of the other columns from that same screen before saving.

The same configuration is also used on the Workout Results screen, keeping your layout consistent between real-time workouts and post-session analysis.

Metric Preferences by Workout Type

When you change a metric in Table View, ErgZone saves your metric selection by workout type.

For example, you can set different metrics for any sport covered by the app, such as rowing, skiing, running, biking, or fan bike workouts.

If you customize metrics during a BikeErg workout, ErgZone will automatically use that same setup the next time you open another BikeErg workout.

💡 Tip

Use the Table View when you want a clear, data-driven look at your session — for example, during structured intervals or testing pieces.

If you prefer less data and a larger font, the Grid View is a great option.

And if you’re training with others, try the Live Dashboard for a shared realtime experience.
