Workout: Table View
As listed in the Workout Screen article, athletes can view their real-time metrics on the ErgZone app in 3 formats: Table View, Grid View, and Live View.
In the article, we will dive into the Table View.
The Table View mode proves highly beneficial when an athlete seeks to assess their performance by comparing intervals or splits during the workout.
When connecting a workout to the PM5, the ErgZone app will open the workout screen in the Table View mode. By default, it will display a table 6x4 table as follows:
- 6 columns for metrics
- 4 or more rows:
- the first row displays the current data for each of the metrics;
all other rows display the data for a given interval or split.
When a workout has more intervals or splits than shown on the Table View, the app will automatically scroll down to ensure the current interval is displayed.
ErgZone+ members can expand the table view by adding up to 10 columns, allowing them to monitor a greater number of metrics during a workout simultaneously.
Changing Metric on Table View
To view a different metric, click the columns' header, and the app will display the next available option. This video demonstrates how it works.
Table View Mode Explained
Header (pink box)
The first row of the table serves as the header, presenting the names of the metrics.
Overall Data (blue box)
The second row of the table displays the Current Data or Overall Data.
This row provides real-time data throughout the workout, mirroring the information visible on the PM5 monitor. Once the workout is completed, it will exhibit either the average or the overall total, depending on the metric. The leftmost column presents a circular progress bar and its corresponding percentage, representing the entire workout's progress.
Intervals or Splits List (green box)
The third and subsequent lines display data for each interval or split.
In portrait mode, the app will always display three (3) intervals: previous, current, and next. In landscape mode, thirteen (13) intervals are displayed.
The ErgZone app will automatically scroll to the next interval as you progress.
The leftmost column presents a circular progress bar and its corresponding percentage, representing the interval's progress.
