What’s the Difference Between ErgZone+ and the Tiered Plan?

ErgZone+ and the Tiered Plan unlock access to the ErgZone Premium feature set, but the key difference is who pays for access to the groups created by that account.

• With an ErgZone+ membership, the user pays only for their own access and unlocks ErgZone Premium features for themselves.
• With a Tiered Plan, the owner pays for all members who have access to the groups they’ve created.

The Tiered Plan pricing is based on the number of members across all groups owned by the same account and is recalculated at the end of each billing cycle.

If the upcoming charge is different from the previous one, the system will send an email to the group owner approximately 7 days before the charge is posted.

💡 The Tiered Plan covers each member’s access to the group — not access to Premium features. Group members under a Tiered Plan do not receive ErgZone Premium, unless they also have their own ErgZone Premium membership.

👤 ErgZone+ Membership

• Ideal for individuals seeking direct access to ErgZone Premium features.
• ErgZone+ members can create Communities to share workouts with other ErgZone+ members. Learn more: What are Communities?
  • Communities can be set as visible, allowing other ErgZone+ members to join and follow shared workouts.

💡 ErgZone+ and the Tier 1 plan of the Tiered subscription have the same cost and features, with the exception that only Tiered Plan owners can create Groups, while ErgZone+ members can only create Communities.

👥 Tiered Plan

• Ideal for coaches, gyms, studios, and clubs looking to manage and cover group access for multiple athletes.
• Owners can create Groups and add members directly or approve join requests.
• The owner is charged based on the number of members across all groups they manage.
• Pricing is recalculated at the end of each billing cycle, and if the amount changes, an email is sent ~7 days before the next charge.
• Only the owner receives ErgZone Premium access — group members do not unless they have their own ErgZone+ membership.

MultiErg Workouts

• All members in a group can perform MultiErg workouts created by the group owner.
• Only users with ErgZone Premium (via ErgZone+ or as a Tiered Plan owner) can create MultiErg workouts.
