Communities

ErgZone+ members can create or join communities. Communities are similar to a group on ErgZone with a few exceptions:

• Only ErgZone+ members can create a community
• Only ErgZone+ members can join a community
• The community's owner is not responsible for covering the cost of each member's access.

Note: as the name suggests, communities are groups created by the community to share workouts with friends and other athletes.  Groups hosted by coaches, clubs, and studios are NOT communities. Some groups require a monthly entry fee, which is not included on ErgZone+.

Create a Community

1. Open the ErgZone app
2. Click on the "Discover" icon at the bottom of the screen
   
3. Click on the "New Community" button
4. Fill out the form and click "Save."
   

Fields 

Name

Provide a name to identify your Community. This is a required field. 

Description

Optional field. Use the description to help others understand what content you plan on publishing. 

Add feature

Select which type of workouts your community will have.  Available options are row, ski, bike, and fit.

Settings

• Require approval to join: use this field to determine whether the community's owner approval is required to perform the workouts in this community. 
  • Disabled: requests to join your community will be auto-approved. 
  • Enabled: requests to join the community will be pending until the owner approves it. 
• Visible on Discover/Search: use this field to determine whether the community should be displayed in the Search for everyone. 
  • Disabled: the community will not be listed on the search.
  • Enabled: the community will be listed on the search. 

Change Community Settings

1. Open the ErgZone app
2. Click on the "Discover" icon at the bottom of the screen

3. 

4. Expand the "Admin" section.

   

5. Click on the "Manage" button.

6. 

   Click on the "Details" button

7. Make any adjustments necessary
8. Click on the "Save" button

Invite Friends to Join Your Community

Share your community's URL to help your friends join it faster. 

1. Open the ErgZone app

2. Click on the "Discover" icon at the bottom of the screen

   

3. Expand the "Admin" section.

   

4. Click on the "Manage" button.

5. 

   Click on the "Invite" button at the top of the screen

6. ErgZone app will generate a unique link you can send to friends
