Competition Setup

Use ErgZone for a Seamless Competition Experience:

1. Getting Started

To begin setting up your competition, email support@erg.zone with the following details:

  • Business Logo: Please attach a logo for the business or competition.

    It will be used to list your business on ErgZone.

  • Competition Name
  • Registration Fee (USD)
  • Country for payouts

    This information is necessary to set up an account on Stripe to send you the payout.

  • Divisions/categories (e.g., age groups, weight classes, etc). Examples:
    • Age groups (18-24, 25-34, etc.)
    • Weight classes (lightweight, heavyweight)

ErgZone’s team will then set up the competition and follow up with next steps, such as adding rules or finalizing formatting.

2. Stripe Connected Account 

If this is your first time selling on ErgZone, during the setup process, we will send you a link to create a Connected Account on Stripe. 

You will be prompted to provide details of your individual/business banking account information on that link.

You may need to complete additional information for tax purposes.

3. Planning & Publishing Your Event

Before opening registration, consider the following:

  1. Registration window — define opening/closing dates
  2. Participant categories — e.g., age or weight classes
  3. Prizes — medals, trophies, gift cards, etc.
  4. Proof of performance — choose whether screenshots or monitors are required
  5. Workout release schedule — announce when workouts go live
  6. Timeline/deadlines — registration cutoffs, workout completion windows, etc. 

These details are optional at setup, but required before the event becomes public.

4. Post-Setup & Publication

Organizers can continue to edit competition details such as descriptions, banners, prizes, and rules through the ErgZone Web Admin.

However, if any of these changes should be reflected on the public event page or website, please notify the ErgZone team so we can update it accordingly.
