Fundraisers on ErgZone – Overview

ErgZone Fundraisers allow organizers to run fundraising initiatives that combine athlete participation, workout meters, and donations within a single platform.

ErgZone is designed so that workouts, performance tracking, and donations all live in the same place. A fundraiser on ErgZone is always associated with an event (such as a competition or group) and uses ErgZone to track athlete participation and meters, with donations processed seamlessly through Stripe.

What Makes ErgZone Fundraisers Different

Unlike traditional fundraising tools that rely on external platforms or manual reporting, ErgZone provides a fully integrated fundraising experience where:

• Athletes complete workouts inside the ErgZone app
• Meters are tracked automatically from associated events
• Supporters make donations in support of participating athletes within the same platform

There is no need to connect separate systems to manage workouts, meters, and donations.

What an ErgZone Fundraiser Includes

An ErgZone fundraiser brings together:

• A Fundraiser

  Defines the fundraising purpose, goals, and donation period.

• Events

  One or more ErgZone competitions or groups associated with the fundraiser.

  These events determine where athletes register and which workouts and meters are counted.

• Athletes

  Athletes participate by registering for the associated ErgZone event and completing workouts through the ErgZone app.

• Supporters

  Friends, family, and supporters donate through a single fundraiser link and select the athlete they wish to support during the donation process.

What Is Tracked

Throughout the fundraiser, ErgZone tracks and displays in real time:

• Donations made in support of each athlete
• Total donations raised
• Total meters completed per athlete across all associated events

This information is visible to organizers, athletes, and supporters.

Payment Processing

All donations are made by supporters and are attributed to an athlete for tracking and visibility purposes. Donations are processed seamlessly through Stripe using a Stripe account connected to the fundraiser. ErgZone does not store payment information.
