Team Relay

If you are signing up for a Team Relay, you must create or Join a Team for the event before the event day. 

To demonstrate how to create, join and approve requests to join a team, we will use the Fools Fest Sprints - a 1000m Two-Person Relay event as an example

Create a Team

After registering for the event, follow the steps:

1. Open the ErgZone app.
2. Click on the competition icon at the top of the screen.
3. Click on the "Registration Details" button.
4. Click on the "Create or Join" button on the "Team" section
5. Type the Team's name
6. Click on the "Create Team" button
7. An error message will be displayed if the Team name has already been used for the event. 
8. You will be redirected to the "Registration Details" screen, where the name of your team will be displayed 
9. Let your teammates know they can join your team. 

Joining a Team

After registering for the event, follow the steps:

1. Open the ErgZone app.
2. Click on the competition icon at the top of the screen
3. Click on the "Registration Details" button
4. Click on the "Create or Join" button on the "Team" section
5. Type the Team's name
6. ErgZone will list any available teams that match the criteria 
7. Click on the "Request access button
8. Your request will be marked as "pending approval" until the Team's owner accepts the reques
9. Once the request has been approved, you can view the team information on the Registration Details screen.
   

Approving a Request to Join Your Team

After registering for the event, follow the steps:

1. Open the ErgZone app.
2. Click on the competition icon at the top of the screen
3. Click on the "Registration Details" button
4. Click to Approve or reject the request
